Le François

Le François is highly popular with tourists because of its beautiful bay and the coral reef, with the town stretching elegantly along the east coast of Martinique opposite the Atlantic.

Josephine's bathtub

Located a few kilometres north of the Villas du Lagon, La Baignoire de Joséphine is one of Martinique’s must-sees. A small paradise with crystal-clear waters, this islet can be found between the islets of Thierry and Oscar. The white bottom of this strip of sand is encircled by the coral reef, meaning you can discover the beauty of the ocean floor while snorkelling.

Rum shop

It goes without saying that any visit to Martinique will include the rum circuit, a source of delight to anyone who loves this liquor and its history. There are still nearly 12 distilleries on the island, most of which will reveal their production secrets to you, with the best-known including Depaz, La Mauny, Neisson, Saint-James, JM, Clément and Habitation Saint-Etienne.
